The Mosquito Genie™ is an effective safe, natural and effective mosquito-killing lantern that will look elegant sitting your deck or patio. The housing is made of heavy-duty stainless steel. The copper-top encases solar panels that charge during the day so your lantern will shine into the night, attracting then killing mosquitoes.

The Mosquito Genie™ houses a small plastic container with a typical liquid dish soap pop-up spout that when opened, slowly releases our patented, natural agent whose vapors kill mosquitoes on contact. Dead mosquitoes are so transparent and lightweight that even the slightest breeze makes them disappear.

One unit may cover between 50 to 80 square feet depending on many variables such as wind, light, mosquito density and breeding grounds. It can take up to one full week before seeing the results. a full month of using the Mosquito Genie™ will impact the mosquito population quite dramatically. It is important to avoid reinfestation so be sure to practice good mosquito control around the home. About 4-7 days after a rain, the mosquito population swells as new eggs take advantage of the moisture and mature into hungry adults. However, maintaining good practices and using the Mosquito Genie™ lantern will bring the population under control again. Killing one female mosquitoes reduces 1000-3000 eggs she can lay in her one-month lifespan. Remove all standing water, even as little as 1/2 tsp in indentation can yield a swarm of mosquitoes in a few weeks. Potted plant holders are a common patio infestation source.
